Alejandra Rossi is seeking empirical evidence from dogs about their focus of visual attention when interacting with humans in a social context. The close relationships between humans and dogs makes the study of their behaviors relevant and possibly informative for understanding how general social behaviors have evolved. Rossi's team is currently developing wearable eye tracking technology for dogs. After development, they will attempt to find out how dogs use visual information while interacting with humans and how that differs from dog-dog interactions, overall seeking to better-understand visual dynamics of dog-human social interaction. If interested in the research please contact Alejandra. [More about Alejandra Rossi]
