Participate in Experiments

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences has an ongoing need for experiment participants, both from IU's student population, and from the community.

P101, P102, and P155 Students

Access the Experiment Sign-Up System to register for experiments that will fulfill your course requirements. Your instructor will provide directions on filling out your profile. If you are experiencing any technical issues with the system, contact Mark Adair (madair [at] indiana.edu), Subject Pool Coordinator.

Child Scientists, Birth - 8 years old

Child Scientist The child development labs in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences welcomes babies and children as valued contributors to important scientific research investigating every aspect of early development. Parents or legal guardians of children ages birth to 8-years are invited to register their child by filling out our online form. When your child reaches an age that matches the needs of an active study, you will be contacted by a researcher with an invitation to participate! For more information or if you have questions, contact Char Wozniak (chwoznia [at] indiana.edu), Research Coordinator for Child Scientists.

IU Students and Bloomington Residents

The walls of our Psychology Building hallways are always full of fliers inviting members of the IU and Bloomington communities to participate in experiments, often for cash payment. Come visit our department to see what experiments are recruiting participants today!
