    REGISTRATION FOR SPRING 2010

Hello PSY and NEUS majors! It is time for spring registration which means all of you need to enroll in a very short period of time. We want everyone to have a successful and easy registration experience. We need your help to accomplish this. We are changing the process a little bit from what we did back in April when you set up your fall schedules. Please do the following BEFORE you contact us for an advising appointment:

    1. Read this PDF document: Registration Advising Procedures for Spring 2010
    2. If you want to come in for a registration advising appointment, follow the instructions in that document.
    3. IMPORTANT: A few of you have already contacted us and set up appointments. You still need to read the document. There is a new "Advising Appointment Worksheet" that you must complete and bring with you to the meeting.
If you have any questions or concerns about the changes, please let us know. Thanks!

Our advising team can help you determine which degree is right for you, select courses, get active outside the classroom, get involved in research, explore careers, and plan for graduate school if that is in your future. Majors are encouraged to meet with advisors at least once each semester!

    The Advising Team:

      Janis Bolling, Academic Advisor
      Carlin C. Schrag, Academic Advisor
      Nancy King, Administrative Assistant

    Office Location: Psychology Room 229

    Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - noon & 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

    Phone: 855-2151

Email: You can reach both advisors by sending an email to E-mail Advising

    Tips:

    • The best way to make an advising appointment is to call 855-2151 during the hours that the office is open.
    • The best way to ask the advisors a question is to email them from your indiana.edu email. If you leave a phone message and then turn off your cell phone, the advisors won't be able to reach you.
    • Students are encouraged to make an appointment for advising; however, advisors will be glad to take walk-in appointments if time permits.
    • Our undergraduate advisors are extremely busy during schedule adjustment at the beginning of each semester and then again during the period when students are registering for classes for the following semester. You may find appointments during the third through the eighth week of the semester to be more leisurely and more productive.
