Clinical Science Certificate Application Form

Admission to our certificate program

If you are interested in applying for the Clinical Psychological Science Certificate program, you must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in your major. Pre-requisite courses for entrance to the program include Introductory Psychology and Statistical Techniques with a grade of C+ or higher. You may apply during the semester you are taking Statistical Techniques; conditional admittance may be granted pending completion of the course with a C+ or higher.

For the application, you must submit:

  1. A 1-2 page resume and a letter of intent describing your interest in the program.
  2. Previous work experience (volunteer, paid employment, etc.) and career goals, which must include the relevance of the certificate to those goals.
  3. A copy of your unofficial Academic Advising Report (AAR) verifying your current major GPA. Note: Be sure to hit “expand all” at the top of the report.

Interviews may be conducted with finalists to determine admittance. We will select students based on a combination of GPA, demonstrated interest in the certificate, appropriate prior work experience, and career goals that align with the priorities of the certificate program.

Note: This certificate does not lead to a license to practice professional psychology or other related field.
