You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in your major and have completed Introductory Psychology and Statistical Techniques with a C+ or higher to apply. You may apply during the semester you are enrolled in Statistical Techniques.
For the application, you must submit:
- A 1-2 page resume and a letter of intent describing your interest in the program
- Previous work experience (volunteer, paid employment, etc.) and career goals, which must include the relevance of the certificate to those goals.
- A copy of your unofficial Academic Advising Report (AAR) verifying your current major GPA. Note: Be sure to hit “expand all” at the top of the report.
Interviews may be conducted with finalists to determine admittance. We will select students based on a combination of GPA, demonstrated interest in the certificate, appropriate prior work experience, and career goals that align with the priorities of the certificate program. Minority and other underserved students are strongly encouraged to apply.
