This course presents an in-depth exploration of the conceptual & practical considerations for understanding, analyzing, and conducting scientific research in psychology. Students will learn about common research designs, problems, and solutions found in psychological research. Normative scientific and ethical considerations for producing psychology research are detailed at the conceptual level and in terms of implementation in the real world. Finally, through independent research proposals, students will gain experience in scientific writing.
