Are you considering graduate school in clinical psychology? Or, maybe you aren’t sure what career path is right for you, but you want to help people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, or other mental health issues? Do you wonder how clinical scientists are using psychological science to reduce suffering in the world, to understand and improve disparities in healthcare, and to help people recover and experience a sense of well-being again?
Our department responds to the demands and opportunities of an ever-changing world and changing student body through a proven yet innovative curriculum. As a hub of science, our students routinely collaborate with other departments across the campus.
We offer educational, informative, and engaging lab experiences with leading research faculty and have recently added certificate programs that take advantage of known linkages between our department and other programs such as business, law, and clinical training. These certificates demonstrate the ability to blend a powerful liberal arts foundation with field-based knowledge and experiences.
We are also taking the lead in developing innovative and engaging online educational formats for our foundational courses.
