The charge of the committee is to advance diversity, inclusivity, and equity in PBS in pursuit of academic excellence and innovation. PBS is committed to establishing a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, cooperation, professionalism, ethical behavior, and harmonious relationships between and among administrators, faculty, students, staff, and alumni. The committee acts in both educational and advisory roles and works closely with leadership to ensure that all department processes use evidenced-based approaches that limit bias and enhance equity.
