Bio
I completed my undergraduate education in physics and mathematics at the University of Missouri - Columbia. Thanks to a number of fortuitous events, I discovered that the study of cognition could satisfy both my passion for quantitative scientific reasoning and my desire to better understand the complexities of human experience and behavior. I am particularly interested in complex decision making (perhaps because I struggle with it so much myself!), as well as complex reasoning, collective cognition such as the wisdom of the crowds, and the network dynamics of social structures, among many other topics.
