Gain a foundational understanding of psychological and brain sciences from multiple perspectives, such as neural, cognitive, and social, as well as developmental processes, individual differences, and patterns of function and dysfunction.

You will develop a skeptical approach to claims about psychology and neuroscience made by scientists, by practitioners, and found in the media, and the ability to evaluate and advocate an argument about brain and behavior.

You will use relevant theories to explain phenomena or make new predictions, and will appreciate how psychological science can be translated into practical solutions for problems that impact human lives.

You are challenged to develop skills that are characteristic of successful professionals (e.g. oral and written communication, project management, collaboration, and facility with technologies for creating, analyzing, and disseminating information), and that extend disciplinary knowledge into a range of professions and industries.
